About Graduate School of International Studies of Culture

Cultivate talented individuals who can play an active role in the fields of international cultural studies and clinical psychology.

In today's society where globalization is accelerating, we aim to train excellent researchers and experts who will be active in the research fields of "international culture" and "clinical psychology." In the first term, students will develop a deep understanding of world and Japanese thought, literature, history, psychology, education, etc., and will comprehensively cultivate communication skills, including language ability. In the second term, we train specialized professionals with advanced knowledge and research capabilities in the research fields of international culture and clinical psychology.

The research fields are divided into two areas: "International Cultural Studies" and "Clinical Psychology Research." The "Clinical Psychology Research" field corresponds to the curriculum for obtaining a licensed psychologist (national qualification). The school is also designated as a Type 1 designated graduate school by the Japan Clinical Psychologist Certification Association.
