As part of our approach to overseas, we have concluded student exchange agreements and academic exchange agreements with overseas universities and are carrying out various international exchange activities between the universities. Below is an overview of the universities with which we have concluded exchange agreements.

Tianjin University [China/Tianjin City] Agreement concluded: November 4, 1990
Founded in 1895, it is one of China's leading technical universities under the jurisdiction of the China National Education Commission. The university is located in the center of Tianjin, the largest city in northern China, and offers a good living environment.
忠南大学校経商大学・建築工学部［韓国／大田広域市］ 協定締結：平成5年2月18日
It is the largest national university in the southern part of Seoul and is a prestigious school with a high reputation in the country. It actively accepts international students and has active exchanges with Korean students.

Bordeaux Art School [Bordeaux, France] * Agreement signed: December 20, 1994
This is a traditional school in Bordeaux. You can study fine arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video), design, communication and graphic arts. There are many international students from Europe and Asia.
Leeds Beckett University [Leeds, UK] * Agreement signed: August 9, 1996
The campus is located in Leeds, a city in the northwest of England, about two hours by train from London. The school is highly regarded in the fields of business, economics, and management, and is characterized by its extensive programs that incorporate internships and strong ties with the industrial sector.
アビリン・クリスチャン大学［米国／テキサス州アビリン市］ 協定締結：平成8年12月11日
A comprehensive university located in Abilene, Texas, an area popular for sports such as American football and major league baseball. With an innovative school culture, the university has achieved great results by introducing the latest educational methods, such as being the first in the United States to distribute iPods and iPads to all students for free.
University of Ulsan, College of Design and Architecture [Ulsan Metropolitan City, Korea] Agreement signed: April 21, 1999
This university is run by the Hyundai Group, one of the three largest corporations in South Korea. It opened as Ulsan University of Technology in 1970 and became a comprehensive university in 1985.

Dongseo University, School of Design [Korea/Busan Metropolitan City] Agreement signed: May 24, 1999
Founded in 1992, the school was renamed Tosei University when it was promoted to a comprehensive university in 1996. It is focusing on ICT, foreign language education, and industry-academia collaboration.
Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, School of Art and Design [Shanghai, China] Agreement signed: June 11, 1999
Founded in 1978, it was formerly known as Shanghai Institute of Engineering Technology, which was established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and others, and became Shanghai University of Engineering Technology in 1985. It is a university with deep ties to the industrial world, aiming to produce talented people in the fields of industrial technology and the arts.

Renmin University of China [Beijing, China] * Agreement concluded: April 2, 2001
Founded in 1937, it is a national key comprehensive university that has produced many talented people who are active in the fields of politics and economics.
Dongguk University [Korea/Seoul] * Agreement signed: January 16, 2002
It is a private Buddhist university that was founded in 1906 and was authorized as the first comprehensive university in South Korea in 1953. The Institute of Japanese Studies, which opened in 1979, is renowned as one of the leading Japanese studies research centers in South Korea.
Stuttgart University of Design [Stuttgart, Germany] * Agreement signed: July 19, 2002
Founded in 1761, this art university places emphasis on practical education in the arts. It stands out for its extensive workshops and facilities, and has many renowned professors.
Catholic University of Lille [Lille, France] * Agreement signed: March 24, 2003
Located in the northern French city of Lille, this private university is one of France's leading universities and was founded in 1875. It is particularly well-known for its ethics, economics, and microelectronics.
Dong-A University [Korea/Busan Metropolitan City] * Agreement signed: February 14, 2005
It opened in 1946 as Dong-A University, and was renamed Dong-A University when it was promoted to a comprehensive university in 1959. It is considered one of the leading universities in Korea. It is active in international exchange, and is focusing on exchanges and collaborations with universities and research institutes around the world.
Pusan National University, College of Economics and Commerce [Korea/Busan Metropolitan City] Agreement signed: August 31, 2012
It is a comprehensive university that plays a leading role in Korea in both education and research. To promote research activities, it has established many research facilities and has achieved great results. It is recognized by the Korean Ministry of Education as one of the leading universities in terms of education reform, internationalization, and IT revolution.

梨花女子大学校［韓国／ソウル特別市］* 協定締結：平成26年3月25日
Founded in 1886 as Korea's first women's university, it is a comprehensive university with majors in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, pharmacy, and more. It is active in international exchange and is engaged in global activities through joint research, exchange programs, and more.
ハワイ大学ウエストオアフ校［米国／ハワイ州カポレイ市］* 協定締結：令和元年7月30日 学部間協定、令和6年9月4日 大学間交流協定締結
It is one of the universities of Hawaii located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The Kapolei area where the campus is located is the second largest in size after Honolulu and has been undergoing development in recent years, allowing students to study in a warm climate all year round.
培材大学校［韓国／大田広域市］* 協定締結：令和元年8月30日
Since its establishment in 1885, it has produced many signatories, including the first president of Korea. It is a comprehensive university with faculties of humanities, foreign languages, tourism and culture, science and technology, and arts. The Korean Language Institute, established in 1992, is highly regarded as a Korean language education institution with a proven track record in the central region of Korea.
Walailak University, Faculty of Engineering and Resource Management [Nakhon Si Thammarat City, Thailand] Agreement signed: October 29, 2019
It is the largest national university in Thailand in terms of campus area. Established in 1992, it encourages industry-academia collaborative education.
Chiang Mai University, Faculty of Business Administration [Chiang Mai, Thailand] Agreement signed: November 23, 2019
It was established in 1964 as the first national regional university in Chiang Mai. It is a prestigious comprehensive university that ranks highly in the university rankings in Thailand. The vast campus has accommodation facilities for students and faculty, and is characterized by beautiful greenery, with abundant nature remaining from before the university was built.
Sanata Dharma University [Yogyakarta, Indonesia] Agreement signed: November 27, 2019
It is a private Christian university located in Yogyakarta, and is highly regarded in the rankings of private universities in Japan.
Agreement signed with the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures, University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City [Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam]: December 3, 2019
It was founded as the first private university in Ho Chi Minh City and has faculties of international relations, international management, information technology, tourism industry, and oriental languages and cultures.
Tainan University of Faculty of Art and Design and Design [Taiwan/Tainan City] Agreement concluded: February 4, 2020
It is one of the top prestigious art universities in Taiwan. The campus is equipped with a workshop, studio, and performance hall, as well as a childcare facility and a hotel for learning management in class, providing a rich educational environment. There are many international students from Asia and Europe, and many faculty and staff who can speak Japanese.
Agreement signed with the Faculty of Business and Information Sciences, Jissen University [Kaohsiung City, Taiwan] on February 21, 2020
It is a private university with faculties of business management, tourism culture, information design, fashion and fashion, and humanities and languages. The Kaohsiung campus offers an all-English curriculum and is ranked highly in the field of internationalization promotion in Taiwan.

Busan University of Foreign Studies, College of International Studies [Korea/Busan Metropolitan City] Agreement signed: July 18, 2023
In addition to majoring in international business, this private university is focused on nurturing talent specializing in intercultural exchange, focusing on the development of Korean cultural content. With government support, it is building and operating the Metaverse environment.

Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology, College of Engineering and Computer Science [Iligan City, Central Mindanao, Philippines] Agreement signed: June 13, 2024
It is one of the top science and technology national universities in the Republic of the Philippines, with seven faculties and seven graduate schools.

銘傳大学デザイン学部[台湾／台北市] 協定締結：令和7年2月26日
1957年に創設された4キャンパスをもつ台湾の総合私立大学です。「キャンパスの国際化」に力を注いでおり、MSCHE(アメリカ高等教育認定)アジア発の認証大学として認定されています。
サンフランシスコ州立大学[アメリカ／カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコ市] 協定締結：令和7年6月26日
1899年に設立された約22,000人の学生数を擁する総合大学です。76の学術分野と47の専門分野にわたる教育・研究を提供しています。
建陽大学校 [韓国／忠清南道論山市] * 協定締結：令和7年7月11日
1991年設立の私立大学で論山キャンパスと大田キャンパスの2つのキャンパスを有しています。 9学部43専攻を有し、AI・ソフトウェア、医工連携、経営、観光、金融など他分野にわたる教育・研究を展開しています。
Lanka Nippon Biztech Institute[スリランカ／マハラガマ市] 協定締結：令和7年2025年10月2日
南アジアで唯一、日本の学位授与機関として認められた高等教育機関で、「スリランカで学び、日本でITプロフェッショナルとして働く」教育を展開しています。
泰日工業大学[タイ／バンコク市] 協定締結：令和7年10月22日
2007年設立の私立大学で日本のものづくり・情報技術・経営技術を英語で学び、世界のどこででも活躍できる人材づくりを目指しています。
Diverse international exchange
本学では、交換留学以外にも多彩な国際交流を行っています。韓国・忠南大学校経商大学及び台湾・銘傳大学デザイン学部と学術交流協定を締結。また、芸術学部は韓国・蔚山大学校デザイン・建築融合大学、東西大学校デザイン学部、中国・上海工程技術大学芸術設計学部と姉妹校友好交流を、また、フランス・ボルドー市と文化交流協定を締結し、活発な交流を行っています。
