Department of Tourism offers courses aimed at cultivating talent who can create a new tourism industry with an eye to the future, Department of Regional Development offers courses aimed at cultivating talent who can put down roots in the community and take the lead in regional development. The distinctive feature of this learning is that it combines the "systematic acquisition of specialized knowledge" with the "development of practical skills."

Practical studies are learning that gives students practical skills and the ability to act that are useful in the real world. We have an internship program that all students can take, and systematically organize courses that develop practical skills that are closely tied to the local community, creating an environment in which students can develop expertise while learning practically in society and companies.
