Based on the founding ideal of "Unification of Industry and Academia," our university has established the FD Committee as the core of its organizational structure, and in order to enrich and improve education, we have established the following basic policy for FD activities:
1) Promoting internal quality assurance in education
② Systematic and systematic implementation of FD
③Utilization of FD results
We are engaged in university-wide faculty development activities from the following three perspectives:
The main FD activities are as follows:
University (institutional level)
・FD training seminars
・KSU Good Practice Award
・Student monitor system
・Open classes across the arts and sciences
・Conducting class surveys
Faculty (Course level)
・Reporting and utilizing the results of FD activities (FD activity report)
・Formulation and implementation of FD activity plans (FD activity plans)
・FD Study Group (held at least once a year, in principle open to faculty from other faculties)
・Opinion exchange meeting with part-time lecturers
・Open classes (in principle, all subjects)
Individual (subject level)
・Development of educational materials platform (educational materials)
・Enter improvements to the syllabus based on the results of class surveys

Student Monitor System

- To obtain honest opinions from students regarding the university's overall educational activities and use them to improve our future activities
