Language education support facilities
The Center's facilities consist of language learning classrooms, an LL library, and CALL classrooms, and provide language education centered on English.
The main programs of this center are university-wide English education for all students, as well as the Career English Program and KSU Overseas and Domestic Job Training for advanced students.
We also support language learning in German, French, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese for international students.
1Language Learning Classrooms N404A-N408B (10 classrooms) [4F]
There are 10 language learning classrooms located on the 4th floor N side of Building 1. Two small classrooms with 40 seats can be used together to seat a total of 80 people.
Teaching materials can be displayed directly on the whiteboard using a high-performance projector, allowing students to teach by writing on the projected screen.
It can accommodate a variety of lesson formats, including group work using movable desks.
2LL Library [4F]
The LL Library is a facility for self-study of languages using computers and has 61 seats. Of the 61 seats, 31 are booths for individual study, and the remaining 30 are round tables for group work. We have a wide selection of e-learning materials and DVDs not only in English but also in German, French, Chinese, Korean and Japanese, with a focus on e-learning linked to English textbooks developed by our university.
3LanguageLanguage Education and Research Center Full-time Lecturer's Room [4F]
There is a waiting room for full-time instructors Language Education and Research Center on the 4th floor of Building 1. There is also a student consultation corner where you can communicate with native full-time instructors during office hours.
Outside of classes, we also hold various events to support students who are highly motivated to learn.
4CALL classroom N401,N402 [4F]
Classrooms N401 and N402 are CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) classrooms.
This is a learning facility where you can take classes using e-learning software for individual study and communication using the LL function. In addition, it is also open as a self-study room outside of class hours.
