All Graduate Schools Joint Project (Master's Program)
Graduate school"Common subjects for all graduate schools" across five graduate schools
In order to produce human resources with "practical skills," "enthusiasm," and "rich humanity" based on our vision, we have established common subjects for all graduate schools. We have established a system that allows students to acquire the language skills and paper writing skills necessary for researchers, and to continue the "cross-disciplinary projects" that are implemented in the undergraduate program even after advancing to the graduate school.

The Techno Art Project is a practical manufacturing activity that combines robot development technology and design to develop innovative robotic toys. In the "Project Practical Exercise" common graduate school subject, students manage the Techno Art Project, an inter-faculty collaborative class between science and engineering and art. Graduate students are responsible for everything from planning the theme to providing technical and design support during the development process, schedule management, and announcing the results of the development, as well as showing and exhibiting them outside the university. Through this type of advanced project-based education, students will acquire management and communication skills in development sites, etc.

Multifaceted evaluation of biodiversity value through economics, ecology, and art science
What is the value of biodiversity?
Is the value of biodiversity as viewed by economics the same as that viewed by ecology? If it is also a source of inspiration for a wide range of creative activities, what does art studies think about it? This project will reconsider the value of biodiversity from an interdisciplinary approach.
What information can lead to behavioral change?
Even if information about the importance of environmental conservation is provided haphazardly, people are unlikely to change their behavior. Through special exhibitions and online surveys, we are researching how to combine information on development and conservation with information on ecological characteristics, and how to present this information in the form of artwork, in order to actually change behavior.
