Ueno Taku Memorial Scholarship

In order to honor the educational philosophy of the late Professor Taku Ueno Kyushu Sangyo University Faculty of Engineering, the Ueno family donated 50 million yen to support outstanding students.

*Regarding emergency and temporary grants from the Japan Student Services Organization: In addition to regular grants (where the Japan Student Services Organization accepts applications for a set period of time), the Japan Student Services Organization also has a system of emergency grants for Type 1 scholarships and temporary grants for Type 2 scholarships in cases where there has been a sudden change in household finances within approximately one year of the occurrence of the change. Please contact the Student Affairs Division.

Support system for higher education

The government's "Higher Education Tuition Support System" provides tuition and entrance fee reductions in addition to grant scholarships (Japan Student Services Organization).
