Student Life

To ensure that new students at Kyushu Sangyo University and Kyushu Sangyo University, Zokei Junior College of Art and Design who are enrolling from far away can live their student life with peace of mind, we have set up a student dormitory, "Tachibana Dormitory" (172 male and 99 female students, 2 barrier-free rooms), located a 5-minute walk from the campus.

The entrance to the dormitory is an auto-lock type, and the dormitory office staff and dormitory supervisors, who are senior students with dormitory experience, are on duty 24 hours a day to manage the dormitory. In addition, multiple security cameras have been installed to monitor the intrusion of suspicious people, and various other safety measures have been taken.

The dormitory rooms are one-room apartment-style rooms of about 10 tatami mats in size, fully air-conditioned and heated, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time while maintaining your privacy. Of course, free Wi-Fi is also available. In addition, the cafeteria, which can be used as a place of interaction, serves nutritious meals prepared with care by a registered dietitian twice a day, morning and evening. In addition, there are coin laundry and bicycle parking spaces as shared facilities.

As a disaster prevention measure, we conduct "Self-Defense Fire Brigade Training" soon after moving in to raise awareness of fire and disaster prevention. Smoking is prohibited on the dormitory grounds, even if you are over 20 years old.

Tachibana Dormitory is also an educational dormitory, and not only does it provide support for students' academic studies through events such as "Course Consultation Sessions" run by the dormitory supervisor, but it also allows students to make many lifelong friends through communal living where they share food, clothing, and shelter.

I moved into the dormitory at my parents' recommendation, and I'm enjoying a regular life, with delicious meals twice a day, breakfast and dinner. I've also made many friends at events such as "hometown social gatherings" and "sports tournaments," and am thoroughly enjoying life in the dormitory.

I chose the dormitory because I belong to the handball club and feel safe even if I come home late. The senior students are kind and helpful, and they are happy to help me with my course consultations, so I am enjoying life in the dormitory.
