Cultivating global talent who can thrive in the food business both domestically and internationally
As food becomes more diverse and globalized, the need for food is growing worldwide. What is needed are people who can take action with a view to the entire food business. The Global Food Business Program uses the knowledge of the faculty of study as a foundation to cultivate in-depth knowledge of the food business and develops people who can play an active role in the globalizing food industry while maintaining a locally rooted perspective.

Language and practical education
With a view to playing an active role on the world stage, we strengthen English education from the first year. In the third year, we conduct language and food business training in collaboration with a university in Hawaii. In addition, we implement a practical curriculum that focuses on problem-solving education and fieldwork in the food industry based in Kyushu.
Learning Features II
KSU's Signature Interdisciplinary Learning: Fusing the Arts, Sciences, and Humanities.
Food business requires a wide variety of knowledge and skills. This program is made up of GFBP subjects and food business-related subjects from all nine faculties, and students learn a wide range of subjects related to "food" and "business" across the board.
