From Wednesday, June 21st to Friday, June 23rd, Career Support Center held the "1st Joint Campus Industry Study Group" for first- to third-year students and first-year students in the junior college and graduate school, with 192 students attending.
The study group, which is attended by 21 companies from a wide range of industries including finance, real estate, construction, and IT, aims to encourage students to think about their future career paths early on by learning about industries, job types, and future recruitment trends.
Participated Faculty of Economics Department of Economics First-year student Nakanishi Shuta (Kagoshima High School) said, "I haven't decided what kind of job I want to do in the future, so I decided to participate in the program to find an industry that interests me. I would like to use what I heard today to help me choose my future career path."
Kenji Togehata, administrative director Career Support Center said, "In order to respond to the trend of earlier recruitment activities, we held the event in June this year, earlier than the usual November. It was also the first time that we held it in a joint format so that students could be exposed to many industries in a limited time. We hope that this will be an opportunity for many students to learn about and become interested in a variety of industries."
Career Support Center supports students in their job hunting activities in a variety of ways, including on-campus company information sessions, industry study groups, and individual interviews.
