Each famous spot is positioned based on its actual geographical location, and flowers native to Higashi Ward, such as dianthus, sunflowers, and cosmos, are also included, making this a piece filled with the charm of history and nature.
Yui Urakawa (Kyushu Sangyo University Kyushu High School), a fourth-year student in the same department, said, "Higashi Ward is the town where I live, so I put my heart and soul into painting a beautiful picture. I hope it will be a work that will be loved by everyone who sees it." Higashi Yone (Kagoshima Tamaryu High School) said, "I was mainly in charge of the night view and flowers. I hope that people who see the picture will feel as if they are taking a pleasant walk through Higashi Ward." Wada Kotone (Chikuyo Gakuen High School) said, "I painted the sacred trees around each shrine that I saw when I visited the sites. It was a valuable opportunity for me to learn that Higashi Ward has many famous places."
