
On Thursday, November 6th, Kyushu Sangyo University University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Industry-Academia-Finance Collaboration with Chikugo Shinkin Bank (Chairman: Yuichi Maruyama).
Under this memorandum, the two companies will work together to solve the problems of Chikugo Shinkin Bank's client companies, as well as create new businesses, support university-based ventures, and provide opportunities for students to experience the real world, thereby promoting the revitalization of the local economy and the development of human resources.
At the signing ceremony held at the bank's head office, President Kitajima said, "With this memorandum, we would like to promote the integration of the bank's extensive network and financial and economic know-how with our university's research results and technological seeds, with the aim of contributing to the development of the local community, and further expand our university's external collaboration efforts."
The bank's chairman, Mr. Maruyama, concluded the ceremony by saying, "As a financial institution that works hand in hand with the local community, we are committed to not only providing financial support, but also helping to resolve the problems that local businesses face. I hope that this memorandum will be fruitful for both parties and the local community."
