
On Tuesday, September 16th, a closing ceremony was held for "Stanford e-KyuSan-U 2025," a collaborative educational program with Stanford University's SPICE, a subject of Global Leadership Program(GLP) (GLP)*. The ceremony was attended by 20 students from our university and five students from Fukuoka Women's University who participated, as well as our university's President Kitajima, Fukuoka Women's University's Chairman and President Mukai, faculty members from each faculty, and related parties.
First, Dr. Gary Mukai, Director of SPICE at Stanford University, explained the significance of the program, thanking everyone involved and paying tribute to the students who participated enthusiastically. Next, SPICE instructor Tamagawa commented, "Each student was engaged in a topic with great interest, and it was a very fulfilling program."
Afterwards, each student was presented with a certificate of completion. The students showed their certificates with smiles and waves to Dr. Mukai, who was attending online, and expressed their satisfaction in English, saying things like, "It was really fun to be able to participate in this wonderful program," and "I was able to improve my English skills through the program."
Finally, the Tamagawa SPICE instructors announced the following five winners as the Fighting Spirit Award and Grand Prize winners.

At the closing ceremony, Professor Matsubara, Chairman of the GLP Committee at our university, said, "I believe that learning across universities and borders has been a wonderful experience for all of the participating students. The real challenge is yet to come. I hope that you will use this experience to further develop your own values and character."
* Global Leadership Program(GLP) (GLP): This is a unique, interdisciplinary, special educational program aimed at students who have a strong interest in the international community and aspire to play a leadership role in global companies in the future. Students learn about intercultural understanding, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, while also improving their practical English skills.
