Soccer clinic for elementary school students held!

On Sunday, December 14th, a "One-Day Soccer Clinic" for elementary school students was held at our university's athletics stadium (soccer ground), sponsored by Kyushu Sangyo University Center for Health and Sports Science.

The event, which invited coaches from the Avispa Fukuoka School and Giravanz Kitakyushu School along with faculty from the Center and the Department of Department of Sport Science and Health Faculty of Human Sciences, was attended by 55 children from local elementary school soccer teams including FORTE, TIPS, AVANCE, and Munakata Central FC.

After a warm-up in the first half, the participants were split into three groups and received instruction from their coaches on shooting, dribbling, and other skills. In the second half, a training match took place between the participating teams, creating a lively atmosphere on the field.

A parent of one of the participants said, "The soccer field was beautiful and I think it was an inspiring experience for my child. It was a wonderful opportunity, and I would definitely like to participate again next time."
