"KSU VISION DAY 2025 Literature x Science x Arts = Exhibition" to be held!

On Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st, the "KSU VISION DAY 2025 Literature x Science x Arts = Exhibition" was held at Okusu Arena 2020, and was well attended by over 2,000 people.

Now in its fourth year, this event is a unique exhibition that brings together the university's diverse research seeds in the fields of humanities, science and engineering, and the arts.

This year's theme was "Social Innovation." Over 100 booths, including special exhibits based on the theme, showcased our university's research seeds and initiatives that contribute to solving social issues, such as regional revitalization, cutting-edge technology, and environmental protection.

On Saturday, November 1st, Takeshi Okada, former head coach of the Japanese national soccer team and chairman of Imabari Yume Sports Co., Ltd., gave a keynote speech (online) entitled "Challenges from Imabari: New Communities in Rural Areas." The seminar also featured a variety of research case studies, including reports on the results of projects aiming for practical application and short presentations on research seeds. Other experiential workshops included an "Electronics Workshop" by the Electrical Engineering Research Department and an "Athletic Ability and Performance Measurement Session" by Department of Sport Science and Health, attracting a wide range of participants, from children to adults.

Thank you very much for coming.
