Reiwa 7 KSU Overseas and Domestic Job Training Trainee Certification Ceremony Held

On Wednesday, October 1st, the 2025 KSU Overseas and Domestic Job Training Trainee Recognition Ceremony was held, and certificates were presented to 14 students (12 from overseas and 2 from Japan).

KSU Overseas and Domestic Job Training is a program that students with top grades in English courses common to all faculties can take after passing a rigorous selection process. Specifically, in addition to practical English classes at our university, students will also experience studying at language schools in Japan and overseas and internships at English-speaking businesses. This program is expected to not only improve students' English skills but also foster personal growth through intercultural exchange.

President Kitajima presented each student with a certificate and offered words of encouragement, saying, "You have all been selected to represent the university. During your training, I hope you will come into contact with diverse people and cultures, experience firsthand the various sites, realities, and realities of the world, and hone your sensibilities."

Representative of the overseas job training trainees, Ueno Yudai (Orio High School), a third-year student Faculty of International Studies of Culture, Department of International Studies of Culture expressed his aspirations in English, saying, "We will do our best to link this experience to our future careers and contributions to society." Next, representing the domestic job training trainees, Haneda Manami (Omuta Kita High School), a second-year student in the Department Department of Clinical Psychology Faculty of Human Sciences, also expressed her enthusiasm in English, saying, "After our pre-training in November, we will participate in an internship at a foreign-owned hotel in Japan in February. In addition to learning the language, I would like to broaden my horizons."
