Our students win various awards in the "Student Display Design Contest 2025 in Hakata Ekinaka "Mining""

At the "Student Display Design Contest 2025 in Hakata Ekinaka "Mining"", which was held at Hakata Ekinaka "Mining" (inside Hakata Station) from Saturday, November 22nd to Friday, December 19th, 2025, Kyushu Sangyo University, Zokei Junior College of Art and Design student "Kaigen Shrine" created by won the Excellence Award and the Hakata Station Building President's Award. Faculty of Art and Design Department of Living Environment Design Student-produced works" "Words to say - Words entrusted to the blue bird" won the Encouragement Award, and "A box of sleeping dreams" won the Mying Employee Award..

The Excellence Award winning entry, "Kaigen Shrine," is set as a fictional shrine that has appeared in Hakata Station, and is an interactive display where you can draw a fortune by scanning the two-dimensional barcode in the center of the display. Using the motif of "water," which connects everything like the sea, it expresses the connection between the past and future, the shrine, and the thoughts of the people.

One of the production team members, Naka Yuri Ai (Kyushu Sangyo University Kyushu High School), expressed her joy, saying, "We wanted to take advantage of the location of Hakata Station, which is a popular tourist destination, and have people learn about the charms of Hakata through the display, so we included 'Hakata trivia' on the fortune-telling slip display screen. Within the limited time, we had many discussions with the other team members to create a better product, and we are very happy to receive this award."
