New inter-university exchange agreement concluded with Konyang University (South Korea)

Our university has recently concluded a new inter-university exchange agreement with Konyang University (South Korea).

Konyang University was founded in 1991 and is a private university with two campuses (Nonsan Campus and Daejeon Campus) in the midwest of South Korea. It offers education and research across a wide range of fields, including AI and software, medical-engineering collaboration, management, tourism, and finance.

On Friday, July 11th, our university's Vice President, Sen Sang-cheol, visited the university and held a signing ceremony for the agreement with the university's President, Kim Yong-ha.

Vice President Sen said, "Following the visit of Konyang University faculty and staff in February 2025, the two universities have come to share the possibility of exchange and collaboration. Our university positions promoting the acceptance of international students as one of its important policies, and we hope to learn from Konyang University's advanced initiatives and build a relationship that will contribute to mutual development. Going forward, through the conclusion of this university exchange agreement, we will deepen cooperation in a variety of fields, including education, research, personal exchanges, and business collaboration, and aim to build a sustainable and fruitful relationship."

President Kim said, "Since the university's founding in 1991, we have placed emphasis on student education, based on our educational philosophy of 'if you teach, you must take responsibility,' and our faculty and staff have worked together to develop human resources. Through mutual exchanges between our two universities, we hope to provide the younger generation with an opportunity to develop a global perspective and realize the importance of academic and international engagement. We hope to cultivate human resources who look not only at Asia but also at the world, and in the future, this will lead to a leap forward in the economy and industry as a whole."

Through this agreement, we will promote joint education and research, and work to develop global human resources by combining COIL Program with local activities.
