A "The Heritage Corner" has been created inside Okusu Arena 2020, showcasing all the achievements of our athletes from the time our university was founded in 1960 to the present day!
The concept of the facility is "a space where you can truly experience the passion of our university's sports and the warmth of the people," and it was designed with the key phrase being "Step By Step One Goes Far*," a phrase that was coined by the university's founder, Professor Jishiro Nakamura, regarding sports at our university.
The Heritage Corner is located on the wall of the exchange lounge facing National Route 3 from the 2nd floor arena entrance, and features wall graphics of the achievements and competition photos of graduates and students in club activities. In addition, the exhibition stand in the same area displays world championship trophies and actual competition uniforms used.
A wooden KSU-shaped display case resembling a bookshelf has been installed at the first floor entrance, showcasing various items honoring the outstanding achievements of the university's athletes.
