On Monday, February 10th, Kyushu Sangyo University Global Leadership Program(GLP) (GLP) FY2024 certificate presentation ceremony was held, and certificates were presented to eight students as the third batch of GLP students.
Global Leadership Program(GLP) (GLP) is a special, interdisciplinary, self-study educational program at our university aimed at students who have a strong interest in the international community and want to demonstrate leadership in global companies in the future. We invite experienced practitioners who are active at the forefront of the international community as lecturers, and use English to deepen students' understanding of international relations and global issues.
President Kitajima handed each student a certificate and offered words of encouragement, saying, "I hope you will cherish international thinking and creativity, and become leaders who will open up a new era, solve problems in response to all kinds of changes in society, and work hard to realize your own aspirations."
Yuka Kono, a fourth-year student Faculty of International Studies of Culture Department of International Studies of Culture (Kyushu Sangyo University Kyushu High School), representing the third class of GLP, stated her strong aspirations, saying, "We, the third class, will use what we have learned here to go our own ways and contribute to society both at home and abroad. We have just reached the starting line to realize the future we envision. Going forward, we will use the guidance we have received during our activities to contribute to our individual futures and to the realization of a better society."
The third batch of GLP graduates have secured employment in a wide range of fields, including aviation, logistics, and manufacturing.
