In October 2025, at the 57th Fukuoka City Art Exhibition Poster Competition, sponsored by the Fukuoka City Art Exhibition Organizing Committee, the work of Shin Aiko (Tanegashima High School), a second-year student in the Department of Art and Design Kyushu Sangyo University, Zokei Junior College of Art and Design College of Art and Design, won the Excellence Award.
The winning work expressed the seven categories that make up the art exhibition with an abstract line illustration. It abstractly expressed the diversity and breadth of each category, and was highly praised for its simplicity while stimulating the viewer's imagination.
Shin expressed his joy at receiving the award, saying, "I focused on using abstract lines to convey the breadth and diversity of the seven categories of the Fukuoka City Art Exhibition. I am very happy that my work was chosen for the poster of such a historic art exhibition."
This work is being displayed in various locations around Fukuoka city and elsewhere as a poster announcing the call for submissions and exhibition for the 57th Fukuoka City Art Exhibition, which will be held from March 24th (Tue) to 29th (Sun).
