"Another Blue" is a game created in partnership with QTnet!

"Let's Make Games Lab," a project-based education program in which students from Faculty of Science and Engineering and Faculty of Art and Design form teams to create games, has developed the original game "Another Blue" in collaboration with QTnet Inc., which has a comprehensive partnership agreement with our university.

"Another Blue" is a game starring Aoi Neno, a VTuber who belongs to the company's e-sports facility "Esports Challenger's Park" (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City). The game consists of five mini-games and a short story, and the last stage is unlocked when all the mini-games are cleared.

The game was developed by about 10 students from the lab over their spring break in 10 days. They underwent error checking (debugging) by the company and made many improvements before finally completing the game. On Saturday, May 31, "Aoi Neno" live-streamed her first playthrough of the game, which was then released to the public.

Nobuhito Miyoshi (3rd year, Department of Information Science of Science Faculty of Science and Engineering /Yahata High School), who was mainly in charge of programming among the production members, said, "Since I entered Department of Information Science, I wanted to do something like a programmer, so I joined the lab. The three-day production was particularly difficult, especially the work of putting together the materials and programs, but it was the most fun time I've ever had, and it felt like it was over in an instant. I also realized the importance of communication skills to convey my thoughts and opinions, such as planning proposals and game implementation, so that the other members can understand them." Mao Watanabe (3rd year, Department Department of Visual Design Faculty of Art and Design /Tochiku High School), who was in charge of UI design, commented, "When I finished it, I felt a sense of accomplishment and anxiety, but when I saw people actually enjoying playing it on the live broadcast, I felt very happy and rewarded. In terms of production, I had a hard time coming up with ideas for the elements necessary to make the game easy to play and user-friendly, but I feel a sense of fulfillment in being able to accomplish this project with the other members."

It will be introduced in archived videos and "X" in the future, and was released on Kyushu Sangyo University official website on the game distribution platform Steam on Monday, June 30th.
