The 3rd International Conference on Business Innovation in Asia (ICABIA) was held at our university

The 3rd International Conference on Business Innovation in Asia (ICABIA) was held from Thursday, December 4th to Saturday, December 6th, jointly hosted by Industrial Management Institute and the Asian Business Innovation Association, with approximately 50 participants from various Asian countries.

The theme of the event was "Challenges and Opportunities in Big Tech Innovation: Navigating the Asian Market." Researchers and practitioners from Japan and abroad engaged in lively discussions about industry-academia collaboration and the challenges and opportunities of Big Tech in the Asian market.

At the opening ceremony held on Friday, December 5th, Professor Park Jeong-eun of Ewha Womans University (South Korea), who served as the organizing committee chair, gave an opening address, saying, "Innovation is not just a technological process, but also a human process. I hope that the papers presented here will be of some help to us." She emphasized the importance of innovation across research, technology, business, culture, and the arts, and spoke about the significance of the conference and its future prospects.

Professor An Hee-tak ofthe Department Department of Business and Marketing Faculty of Commerce, Tohoku University, welcomed the attendees and emphasized the value of international networks, saying, "It is wonderful to meet so many researchers and experts from all over Asia and the world who share our human culture. Here we have a wonderful opportunity to share ideas, learn from each other, and explore different methods. I hope to build lasting connections through the conversations and collaborations we have here."

This conference is attracting international attention as a forum that combines knowledge from both industry and academia to explore practical solutions that take into account the changes in management and innovation brought about by Big Tech.
