Professor Fujii wins the Grand Prize at the 1st Higher Education DX Awards!

 Professor Yoshiko Fujii of the Department Department of Business and Marketing Faculty of Commerce, won the Grand Prize at the 1st Higher Education DX Awards, sponsored by Sekigakusha Co., Ltd.

This award is supported by the Common Purpose Fund of SARTRAS (Society for the Management of Compensation for Public Broadcasting for Educational Purposes), and is the first nationwide initiative to promote the use and spread of digital technology and e-books in higher education lectures (from the Sekigakusha 1st Higher Education DX Award website).

On Monday, January 12th (national holiday), a final presentation was held at the Ochanomizu Triedge Conference (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) by the eight finalists selected from the applicants, and the winners were decided.

Professor Fujii reported on his own subject, "Introduction to Marketing," under the theme of "The Benefits of a Loose, Face-to-Face Community: Through Practice in First-Year Foundational Subjects." He gavea presentation on the innovations he has made in his lectures using digital textbooks, as well as the results of his observations and practical examples based on student surveys. 

The judges said, Utilizing digital textbooks and creative lecturesIngenuity and,StudentsDX"Creating an environment that is easy to respond to" Professor Fujii said, This award is a testament to the many discussions and trial and error I have had with teachers and people in the industry involved in digital textbooks, and to the many opportunities I have had to meet with them.This is the result of creating 14 classes with the students I met during the lectures.At business schoollearned"Learning Community"It has also been important to build.I will continue to improve and protect this learning., and pass it on to the next generationI will continue” he said with joy.
