
Held on Sunday, September 21st ET Robocon 2025 Kyushu North and Kyushu South Regional Tournaments"Faculty of Science and EngineeringDepartment of Information Science The team participated and came second in the Primary Class and won the overall championship in the Advanced Class.
This competition has two classes based on skill level. The Primary Class is a basic skill level that requires programming, modeling, and the project management skills unique to team development. Meanwhile, the Advanced Class is an applied skill level that adds advanced elements such as control technology and AI, tackling more complex challenges.
"KERT-B3 (Kyushu Sangyo University Faculty of Science and Engineering /Mynavi Edge Co., Ltd.)" participated in the Primary Class and came in second place overall. "SELENE (Kyushu Sangyo University Faculty of Science and Engineering)" participated in the Advanced Class and achieved the remarkable feat of winning both the competition category and the overall championship.
Both teams have qualified to compete in the national tournament for the third consecutive year and will compete in the championship tournament to be held at Pacifico Yokohama on Thursday, November 20th and Friday, November 21st.
Shuhei Fukuchi (Joto High School), a member of the primary class and a third-year student in the same department, said, "Just before the regional competition, we had trouble with our robot going off course, but we made some quick readjustments and were able to get through it. Using this experience, we are making thorough adjustments down to the smallest details in preparation for the championship competition. First of all, we will do our best to finish the race and then aim for a high ranking!"
