The Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering awards students twice a year, in the first and second semesters, to individuals or groups who have achieved outstanding results. In the first semester of the 2025 academic year, the following students were recognized:
Aomi Sato, 4th year, Department of Civil and Urban Design Engineering: "Taking on my own initiative"
Sato served as a substitute lecturer for the Alumni Association and was in charge of the secretariat at the Alumni Association's regular general meetings and representative meetings. He has been involved in a variety of independent activities, including blood donations, volunteering, representing the Civil Engineering Research Group, and taking courses in teacher training and librarianship.
Upon receiving the award, Sato expressed her joy, saying, "The reason I decided to try club activities and the teacher training course was to overcome my weaknesses. Until high school, I avoided speaking in front of people or doing things for others, but I realized that I couldn't continue like this, so in college I actively tried various things. I am very happy that my efforts have been recognized and that I have received this award, and I am really glad that I worked hard for four years."
