Faculty of Economics awards prizes every year to students who have achieved outstanding grades in the previous semester and those who have obtained difficult qualifications, with the aim of encouraging motivation among high-achieving students and promoting interaction across grade levels.
This year, 44 students were recognized, and the 2025 Faculty of Economics Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Academic Achievements was held on Tuesday, October 28th. Dean Kayanuma of Faculty of Economics presented the certificates of commendation.
The Dean of the Faculty encouraged the recipients, saying, "Your daily efforts will inspire your underclassmen and other students. I wish you continued success in the future." Afterwards, a discussion session was held between the recipients and faculty members.
One of the award recipients, Jinmu Yoshihiro (Itoshima High School), a first-year student in the same department, said, "I am truly happy to have received this award. At university, I am learning about economic trends and mechanisms that I didn't know about before, so I am enjoying my studies. I would like to continue learning by reviewing the classes I took in the first semester."
