
On Tuesday, January 13th, the Principal of the Fukuoka Prefectural Police Academy presented a letter of appreciation to Associate Professor Makiko Mikuni of the Department Department of Clinical Psychology Faculty of Human Sciences.
Associate Professor Mikuni has been teaching students at the police academy about "the psychology of committing crimes" and "the psychology of young people" for many years, and has been recognized for his contributions to education and student development at the police academy.
Those who received the training have now graduated from the police academy and are working as police officers, making use of the skills they have acquired and working in a variety of fields.
Associate Professor Mikuni, who received the letter of appreciation, said, "I had a lot of fun teaching at the police academy. I have always taught with the hope that I could help the members of the prefectural police to be more active, so I am very honored to receive this letter of appreciation."
