■Kenta Yonemori (3rd year / Higashi Fukuoka High School)
The theme of this photoshoot was "Scenery Lost as We Grew Up," and it was taken on Tachibana Mountain behind the university. As a child, I was thrilled to get close to the moss by the roadside and the trunks of trees, and to see the jungle-like world that unfolded before me. This photoshoot is based on the concept of rediscovering the beautiful world that unfolds at our feet, which we tend to overlook as we grow up and become preoccupied with efficiency and destinations. I used a macro lens (a lens that allows you to get closer to the subject than a regular lens) to make everything appear larger and to make the subjects feel more impactful.

■Ririka Sakura (2nd year / Hakata Girls' High School)
I took this photo in the Netherlands during an overseas training exercise, with the theme "Inside a facility called Blue City."I consciously composed the shot so that the inorganic staircase, rather than the walls, would be the main subject, and I made sure to create a contrast with the light streaming in and the lifebuoy.I was drawn to the way the light came in and the color of the wall, so I took this shot. I like how, even though the inorganic staircase is at the center, the presence of the light streaming in and objects like the lifebuoy makes the space appear softer.

■ Daiki Goto (2nd year student / Jiyugaoka High School)
I created a collage using two photos I took at university: one in black and white and one in color, depicting the sky and airplanes. The concept is "the interconnectedness of anxiety and reassurance." The shadow of anxiety emanating from the black and white image contrasts with the everyday reassurance conveyed by the color image. I expressed these two emotions, which exist in a interconnected but uninterrupted way, by collaging photos taken from my own realistic perspective. I hope viewers will feel and interpret it freely.

■Katsuno Sei (2nd year student / Kyushu Sangyo University Affiliated Kyushu High School)
I heavily edited the azalea photos to make them more appealing. By removing the color and then adding red, I think I created a stronger first impression and a greater sense of artistry. Also, by presenting a flower that can be found anywhere in a different way, I hope that those who see these photos will be inspired to try editing and creating their own pictures.
