"Kashiigata Manyo Poetry Monument Exhibition" held at Kashii Shrine

 
The "Kashiigata Manyo Poetry Monument Exhibition - Enjoying Calligraphy and Commentary" is being held at the rest area of Kashii Shrine (4-16-1 Kashii, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City) until Friday, December 5th.

This exhibition will be held in 2025 Kashii Shrine Imperial Festival The exhibition commemorates the anniversary of the founding of the Kashii Shrine, and features beautiful calligraphy pieces by contemporary calligraphers, three of which will be included in the Man'yoshu monument in the grounds of Kashii Shrine Tongu Shrine, as well as explanatory panels by literary scholars. Faculty of Collaborative Regional Development Department of Tourism Professor Yasunari Ishikawa, Center for Fundamental Education Professor Seiko Mori The panel was created by literary scholars, including Kyushu Sangyo University, Zokei Junior College of Art and Design Department of Art and DesignShenAssociate Professor Yusuke Photographed by.

Professor Ishikawa, the executive committee chairman of this exhibition, said, "In addition to understanding the meaning of the poem, you can also enjoy the artistic beauty of the works of calligraphers who represent the modern calligraphy world. I hope that visitors will take time to think about the former scenery of Kashii Shrine and Kashiigata Lagoon."
