Soccer Club: Runner-up in the 9th All-Japan University Soccer Rookie Tournament!

On Saturday, November 29th, at the 9th All Japan University Soccer Rookie Tournament held in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture, our university's soccer club defeated their opponent, Kansai University, and took home the impressive runner-up spot!

The tournament will be held from Tuesday, November 25th to Saturday, November 29th, and will feature 12 teams selected from regional university soccer associations across the country, made up of players from each university who are in their second year or younger.

Captain Hirata Ryuji (2nd year, Faculty of Commerce Department of Business and Marketing /Iizuka High School) said, "I'm really glad we were able to achieve such a good result. I think the fact that everyone on the team never forgot to enjoy playing soccer and played with smiles on their faces throughout the game led to this result. We also learned a lot from the other teams, such as their decisiveness in crucial moments and how to spend our time on away trips. We will use this experience to our advantage and do our best to make it into the top eight at the All Japan University Soccer Championship in December."

We appreciate your continued support.
