Our university's women's handball club came in second at the Kyushu Student Handball League Autumn Tournament held in August, and has qualified to compete in the All-Japan Student Handball Championship, which will be held in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture from Saturday, November 1st.
The tournament will bring together 32 teams that have won their regional qualifying rounds to compete in a tournament format to determine the best university in Japan.
Manager Ayaka Yasukawa (2nd year, Faculty of Commerce Department of Business and Marketing of Commerce/Koryo High School) said, "With the national tournament in mind, we have been increasing our practice time over the past month and working on intensive training. Our first match will be against the strong Kokushikan University, but we will give it our all in every match and aim to win as many games as possible."
We appreciate your support.
