Fukuoka Prefectural Police Higashi Police Station and club students hold opinion exchange meeting

February 10th (Tuesday), Fukuoka Prefectural Police Higashi Police Station At "Fukuoka Prefectural Police East Police Station investigator and sports club memberAcademic and cultural affairscirclestudentExchange of opinions with" was held, and two officers from the Fukuoka Prefectural Police Higashi Police Station and eight student representatives from athletic and academic/cultural clubs participated.

The purpose of the exchange meeting was to promote the police station's public relations and awareness activities and to raise students' awareness of crime prevention. The meeting was planned by Fukuoka Prefectural Police Higashi Police Station and student representatives from the club to exchange opinions on awareness and the current situation regarding drugs and crimeslurking in our daily lives, in order to understand the thinking of both parties.

Police officers explained to the students the current situation regarding drugcrimes,including marijuana, and the damage caused by illegal part-time jobs, which have been increasing in recent years.The students asked questions such as "What to do if you are solicited" and "What to be careful of to avoid getting involved in crimes on social media," raising their awareness of crime prevention in order to prevent crimes from happening in the first place.

Participating students shared their thoughts on the event, saying, "After listening to this seminar, I realized that drugs and illegal part-time jobs are things that are close to us. I didn't know much about illegal part-time jobs in particular, so I would like to cherish the knowledge I gained from this exchange of opinions. I would also like to pass on this information to my club members, raise awareness, and make the most of my university life." and "In recent years, while it has become easier to interact with many different people through social media, I feel that the dangers have also become more familiar. In this situation, in order to protect yourself and your friends, it is important to have the right knowledge, think for yourself, and act. If you have any concerns, it is important to talk to someone."

Our university is engaged in ongoing awareness-raising activities, such as hosting lectures on drug abuse prevention by the Fukuoka Prefectural Police and showing educational videos produced by our university in class.
