On Friday, December 5th, students from the executive committee of our university's student association, in collaboration with the Fukuoka Prefectural Police Higashi Police Station and other related organizations, held a "Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign" at JR Kashii Station with the aim of raising awareness about drug abuse prevention at the university and in the local community.
This time, we distributed original disinfectant wipes (approximately 200 sheets) designed by students of the Faculty of Art and Design for the purpose of raising awareness, as well as a "telephone response handbook" created by students of our university with the aim of preventing fraudulent phone calls. We also made a wide appeal about the recent sharp increase in fraud victims.
Our university is engaged in ongoing awareness-raising activities, such as hosting lectures on drug abuse prevention by the Fukuoka Prefectural Police and showing educational videos produced by our university in class.
