Notice Regarding Cancellation of Travel to the Middle East Region and Travel Advisories
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology continue to urge strong vigilance regarding the Middle East region, where the situation remains unstable.
Faculty, staff, and students are requested to prioritize their own safety and take the following precautions.
1. Please cancel any travel to the Middle East.
Level 4 (evacuation advisory) and Level 3 (travel advisory) have been issued for Middle Eastern countries surrounding Iran.
2. In addition to the above, please cancel any travel to countries or regions where a "Level 2 (Avoid non-essential travel)" or higher has been issued.
3. When using air travel, please check flight information including transit points and make sure in advance that your connecting flight does not pass through any of the countries listed in points 1 and 2 above.
