On Wednesday, April 22nd, the "2026 Kyushu Sangyo University Study Abroad Permit Presentation Ceremony" was held at the university's Global Plaza, where President Misayoshi Kitajima presented permits to the 10 students selected to study abroad this year.
Our university's exchange program sends students to partner universities with which we have international exchange agreements, such as those in the United States, South Korea, and Germany. Students who are enthusiastic about international exchange and who pass document screening and language tests are selected as exchange students. All students receive a scholarship, and credits earned at the host university are recognized according to the faculty's standards.
President Kitajima, who presented each student with a certificate, touched upon the university's brand message of "sensitivity" and "practical skills," and encouraged them by saying, "Experience diverse cultures and people, and get a firsthand feel for the realities of the world." He also encouraged the students by saying, "Don't set limits for yourselves, and take on challenges boldly. I look forward to seeing how you all grow when you return home."
