As part of our university's project-based education program, we are working on the following initiative:【KSR】Robot Workshop "but, It will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Ota City General Gymnasium (Tokyo).NHK Student Robot Contest 2026 - ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest Representative Selection Competition (commonly known as: N Student Robot Contest) We will be competing! Only 18 universities nationwide have passed the first and second rounds of video screening and advanced to the main competition. This will be our first time participating.
This project, guided by Professor Nobuhiro Ushimi of the Department of Smart Communication Engineering, Faculty Faculty of Science and Engineering, is a practical educational project in which students take the lead in designing, manufacturing, controlling, and improving robots. Participation is not limited to science and engineering students; students from humanities and arts fields also participate, and this cross-faculty and departmental approach is one of the distinctive practices that symbolizes integration of humanities, sciences, and arts education of our university.
