Our university has its own unique scholarship program that does not require repayment, and each year we award the "Jishiro Nakamura Scholarship" to students who have achieved high scores in entrance examinations or who hold advanced qualifications.
On Friday, May 15th, the "2026 Jishiro Nakamura Scholarship Recipient Ceremony" was held, and certificates were presented to 90 newly recognized freshmen.
Representing the scholarship recipients who received encouragement from University President Misayoshi Kitajima Kenji Yanagi Kyushu Sangyo University, Zokei Junior College of Art and Design College of Faculty of Art and Design Department of Living Environment Design of Arts, and Karen Shigematsu (Chikuyo Gakuen High School) from the Department of Visual Kyushu Sangyo University, Zokei Junior College of Art and Design Department of Art and Design expressed their gratitude, saying, "As recipients of the Nakamura Jishiro Nakamura Scholarship, we will strive and work hard to be role models for other students in both character and academics."
In addition to providing an environment where students can concentrate on their studies, our university offers various forms of support, such as the "Academic Excellence Scholarship"(333 recipients) for second to fourth-year students who have achieved excellent academic results (generally for the previous academic year).
