On Tuesday, March 31st, we held a ceremony at our university to confer the title of Professor Emeritus.
The title of Professor Emeritus is awarded to those who have served as full-time professors at our university (undergraduate or junior college division) for 15 years or more and have been recognized for their academic or educational achievements.
In the 2025 academic year, it was decided that three faculty members would be awarded the title of Professor Emeritus, and President Kitajima of the university and President Yanagi of the junior college presented them with certificates of the title of Professor Emeritus.
