On Monday, May 11th, President Tzu-Hsiang Ko and other representatives from Lung Hwa University of Science and Technology in Taiwan visited our university.
The university focuses on global education, aiming to provide practical and advanced engineering education, primarily in the semiconductor field, and to cultivate individuals who can thrive in the international community. This visit came about as a result of a visit by our university's representatives to the university last December, and it provided an opportunity to further deepen the exchange between the two universities.
On that day, following a courtesy visit to Chairman Iwasaki of our university, discussions were held with President Kitajima and Vice President Sen, and a lively exchange of opinions took place regarding future inter-university exchanges with a view to collaboration in education and research in science and engineering fields, including semiconductor education, and the development of global human resources.
Following this, a lively discussion on semiconductor education took place in Faculty of Science and Engineering, providing a valuable opportunity to deepen mutual understanding regarding educational content, curriculum direction, and future collaboration possibilities.
Our university will continue to promote the internationalization of education and research, and further enhance the content of our curriculum, through collaboration with overseas universities.
