
We are pleased to announce that our university and Universiti Putra in Malaysia have concluded an international exchange agreement (inter-university exchange agreement) aimed at promoting exchanges among students and faculty members, as well as joint research.
This agreement will promote various global initiatives, such as the international expansion of educational and research activities through collaboration between the two universities and the diversification of international exchange networks.
Putra University has its main campus in Serdang, near Kuala Lumpur, and has approximately 30,000 students studying in 15 faculties. It is ranked 20th in the QS worldUniversity Rankings (Asia 2025), and its Faculty of Business and Faculty of Economics curriculum is the only one in Asia to be accredited by the world's three leading business schools: "AACSB" from the United States, "AMBA" from the United Kingdom, and "EQUIS" from Europe, making it a university with a high international reputation.
On Tuesday, April 21, President Ahmad Farhan Putra University and other university officials visited the university, and a signing ceremony was held.
President Kitajima stated, "Like your university, our university is a comprehensive university with faculties in the humanities, science and engineering, and arts, and we are committed to integrating diverse fields and cultivating human resources who can thrive internationally. The signing of this agreement will be a great learning opportunity for students and faculty, and will become an important pillar in promoting the internationalization of our university in the future. We hope that the collaboration between our two universities will deepen further, leading to the development of student exchanges, joint research, and educational programs."
Furthermore, President Ahmad Farhan stated, "We have already seen increased student exchanges and the promotion of language and cultural exchange through agreements with various universities. We hope to develop our own international agreement program with Kyushu Sangyo University as well. We also want to promote joint research and educational programs," expressing his expectations for future collaboration.
Going forward, our university will continue to implement a variety of initiatives with the aim of cultivating global human resources.
