From Thursday, May 21st to Sunday, May 24th, we held the 47th campus festival, a festival organized by the university's academic and cultural associations.
This year's theme was "Hien" (Swallow). During the event, in addition to stage performances by academic and cultural groups, such as performances by the music club, and art exhibitions, there were also many visitor-participation events on weekends, including Yoshimoto comedy shows, tea parties, and a stamp rally with fantastic prizes, which attracted many students and local residents.
Naoki Amita, Chairman of the Academic and Cultural Executive Committee (4th year student, Department of Architecture Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering) Shimonoseki Technical High School High school) said, Under the theme of "Hien" (Swallow), we planned and managed the event with the hope that it would be an opportunity for everyone to feel the free and powerful soaring wings of the students belonging to the cultural clubs. We, the Academic and Cultural Executive Committee, are extremely pleased that so many people visited during the event and that we were able to see everyone's smiles. We are relieved that the event was successfully held after a long period of preparation, but we also feel a sense of sadness that this is the last campus festival for us as fourth-year students. We look forward to seeing our juniors hold an even more powerful campus festival in the years to come. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those involved who cooperated in the holding of the 47th campus festival, and to everyone who visited." he said.
