Professor Sakai Junichiro of Department of Japanese Culture, whose book was published in 2025, "Language and Cultural Contact of Qing Chinese Students Studying in Japan - Mutual Misunderstandings and Educational and Cultural Exchange between Japan and China" has been translated into Chinese and published in China.
This book is a detailed research study of the linguistic and cultural contacts between Chinese students who came to Japan during the Meiji period and Japanese students, and the mutual misunderstandings that arose during this process.
