At the 57th Fukuoka City Art Exhibition, Asataro Ishida, a first-year master's student in the Graduate Graduate School of Fine Arts won the Grand Prize, the highest award, for his work "Tenmoku Bowl."
In the Japanese painting category, the "Fukuoka Mayor's Award" was given to Yusuke Goto, a first-year master 's student in the same graduate school, for his work "Twin," the "Fukuoka City Board of Education Award" was given to Shinpei Ebuchi, a second-year student Faculty of Art and Design Department of Fine Arts and Media Sciences Arts (Higashi Fukuoka High School), for his work "Oppressive Nature, Alleviating It Through a Window," and the "Fukuoka City Art Federation 30th Anniversary Special Award" was given to Nagisa Sugimoto, a third-year student in the same department (Fukuoka Korinkan High School), for her work "Stained Memories."
Furthermore, in the sculpture category, the "Fukuoka City Art Federation 30th Anniversary Special Award" was given to Rikuto Nakajima, a fourth-year student in the same department (Koga Kyoseikan High School), for his work "Self-Portrait," and the "Fukuoka Prefectural Art Association Encouragement Award" was given to Akira Yumura, a third-year student in the same department (Arita Technical High School), for his work "Spring Breeze."
Additionally, from March 24th (Tue) to March 29th (Sun), the "57th (2025) Fukuoka City Art Exhibition," where you can view the winning and selected works from this exhibition, is being held at the Fukuoka Art Museum.
