The semi-hardball baseball club is collaborating with Koga City to hold a "Baseball Fun Class."

On Saturday, June 13th, 17 students from our university's semi-hardball baseball club held a "Baseball Play Classroom" event in collaboration with Koga City at the Koga City Gymnasium (Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture), with 37 local children participating.

This event was held with the aim of letting children experience the joy of physical activity through baseball, and for our university students to deepen their interaction with local children.

On the day of the event, the students led a group warm-up exercise, followed by a game of dodgeball to get everyone in shape. Afterwards, the participants were divided into four groups and rotated through putting and fielding practice. The students worked closely with each child, offering encouragement and providing careful instruction on how to throw, hit, and catch the ball.

Finally, a game-style match was held, and the children played with great energy. There were many exciting moments during the match, and the venue was filled with the smiles and cheers of the children from beginning to end.

Our university will continue to value collaboration with the local community and strive to create opportunities for students to engage with society and grow through sports.
