Collection
Since the establishment of Faculty of Art and Design in 1966, Kyushu Sangyo University has been collecting art and craft objects, including paintings, sculptures, crafts, designs, and photographs, as "specimens" for student education.
In keeping with the objectives of the museum's establishment, Museum of Kyushu Sangyo University will collect outstanding works that will be useful to the promotion of culture and the arts in the region and to the art education and research of the university and its junior college.
In particular, we aim to be a pioneering university art museum rooted in the local community by collecting (1) works by artists who are from Kyushu or have a close connection to Kyushu, and (2) works in the fields of design and photography.
